Join CDW for a one-day, hands-on Azure Immersion Workshop to get you started on Modernising .NET Apps using Azure.

Modernise your .NET Applications with minimal interruptions by leveraging the latest technologies for scalability, resilience and agility of your apps. This workshop will demonstrate how efficient and cost-effective it can be to manage your .NET applications in Azure.

By attending this workshop, you will gain a better understanding of the steps involved in modernising .NET applications and legacy infrastructure by leveraging cloud services. You will also see how applications can be enhanced by adding a mix of web and mobile services, all secured using Azure Active Directory.

Content is based on Microsoft Cloud Workshops, that are widely used by Microsoft specialists and solution architects. 

At the end of this workshop, you will be able to design and implement a modernisation plan for your organisation, and improve your experience in moving services from on-premise to the cloud.

Hosted by Nigel Wardle, Cloud Solutions Architect - Cloud Platforms, CDW, the workshop will focus on: 

• Learning the value that Azure brings to .NET modernisation
• Designing solutions that modernise legacy on-premises applications and infrastructures
• Testing the experience in a hands-on lab environment for real world application.

Please note this is a deep dive into standard Azure reference architecture, and will be very technical. It is therefore aimed at developers or people in operations whose day job already gives them some knowledge of setting up Azure resources. Multiple screens is strongly recommended.
